Terms of Use
DuoTalk (iOS) · Pre-release draft, 10 September 2026
1. What DuoTalk is
DuoTalk is a conversation translator for iPhone, published by Roméo Gambino. It is in development and not yet available on the App Store. When it is distributed through the App Store, Apple's standard end-user licence agreement applies to the download, and these terms complete it.
2. What DuoTalk is not
DuoTalk is a translation aid, not a certified interpreter. Machine translation and speech recognition can be wrong, incomplete or unavailable for a language pair. Do not rely on it alone for medical, legal, emergency or other high-consequence communication.
3. Acceptable use
You may use DuoTalk for lawful personal or professional communication. Do not present its output as an official translation, and do not use it to infringe another person's rights.
4. Apple services
Speech recognition, translation and spoken playback rely on Apple frameworks. Their availability and quality depend on the device, the iOS version and the language resources installed; Apple's terms govern those services.
5. Privacy
Data practices are described in the DuoTalk privacy policy.
6. Changes and availability
DuoTalk may change, be paused or be withdrawn during development. Nothing on this website means that the app is currently available.
