DuoTalk: Terms of Use

1. What DuoTalk is

DuoTalk is a conversation translator for iPhone, published by Roméo Gambino and distributed through the App Store. Apple's standard end-user licence agreement applies to the download, and these terms complete it.

2. What DuoTalk is not

DuoTalk is a translation aid, not a certified interpreter. Machine translation and speech recognition can be wrong, incomplete or unavailable for a language pair. Do not rely on it alone for medical, legal, emergency or other high-consequence communication.

3. Acceptable use

You may use DuoTalk for lawful personal or professional communication. Do not present its output as an official translation, and do not use it to infringe another person's rights.

4. Apple services

Speech recognition, translation and spoken playback rely on Apple frameworks. Their availability and quality depend on the device, the iOS version and the language resources installed; Apple's terms govern those services.

5. Privacy

Data practices are described in the DuoTalk privacy policy.

6. Changes and availability

DuoTalk may change, be paused or be withdrawn. Its availability on the App Store depends on your country and your Apple account.

8. Purchases and subscriptions

DuoTalk Pro is paid access through a weekly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. The app and Apple show the price and billing period before purchase. A free trial is displayed only when Apple confirms eligibility. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in Apple Account settings before the renewal date. Restore Purchases is available in the app. Apple’s rules govern billing, cancellations and refund requests.
