Frequent questions

How do I restore my subscription?

On the subscription screen, tap Restore purchases at the bottom. It is also in Settings › Subscription. On the first screen of the app, I already have a subscription does the same.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

In Parlunea, open Settings › Manage subscription. Or in the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. To avoid being charged at the end of a free trial or of the current period, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

What do I get before subscribing?

The whole introduction, including a first written exercise, a self-review and a second attempt to compare. The prices, any introductory offer and the renewal terms are shown before you confirm, exactly as Apple provides them for your account.

Where are my answers and recordings?

On your iPhone only, in the app's private storage. Nothing is sent to us. Deleting the app deletes them.

How do I export or delete my practice?

Settings › Data and privacy: Prepare a data export creates a file with your texts (not the audio or video files). Delete all practice data removes your sessions, your draft and your recordings. A single session can be deleted from Progress.

The AI feedback is not available.

AI feedback is optional. It uses Apple's on-device model, which needs iOS 26 or later, a device compatible with Apple Intelligence, and a supported language. Without it, every exercise still works with your own review and the checklist.

Transcription does not work in my language.

Parlunea only uses Apple's on-device speech recognition. If your iPhone has no on-device engine for the app language, you can listen to your recording and type your text instead.

I refused the microphone or the camera.

You can keep practicing in writing. To record later, allow the microphone or camera for Parlunea in the iPhone Settings app.

How do I change the language or my mentor?

Settings › Your practice. The app follows your iPhone language the first time; you can pick another one there. Voices, transcription and AI feedback depend on what Apple provides for that language on your device.
