Privacy Policy
MindBuilding (iOS) · Effective 24 September 2026
The short version
MindBuilding has no account and no server for your training. Your sessions, every trial, your records, check-ups, journal and answers stay on your iPhone or iPad. Two things leave the device, both without your name: anonymous usage counts (which you can turn off), and the status of a purchase so your subscription can be confirmed. Nothing is ever sold, and there is no advertising.
What stays on your device
- Training: every session and every trial with its timing, levels, records and lifetime totals.
- Check-ups: your scores on the check-up tasks, used only to compare you with yourself.
- Journal: your notes, mood and energy. They are never analyzed and never sent.
- Your plan: the goals, reasons and time you chose at the start, your likes and dislikes, how you felt after a session, and any declared pause.
- Apple Health (optional): sleep and activity read from Apple Health stay on your device to adapt your training, and are never sent.
- Your age range for the Club, when you give it (from Apple or from the app's own question): kept on the device to keep public features off for anyone under 16.
Syncing between devices is not active in this version. Your data can be part of an iCloud or computer backup of the device, governed by Apple's own terms. Deleting MindBuilding deletes its data from the device.
Anonymous usage measurement
To understand what works, MindBuilding sends anonymous counts to TelemetryDeck, hosted in the European Union: app opens, steps of the welcome (the training goals and session length chosen; for the questions about why you train and what you have tried, only how many answers were given), exercises completed and whether a record was set, views of the subscription screen and purchase steps, and the answer to the notification request. Each count carries a random identifier created on the device and hashed, and your region, never your name, email or device identifier.
Never sent: journal notes, mood and energy, trial-by-trial data, check-up scores, your age range or your answers about health. You can turn this measurement off at any time in Profile; nothing else in the app changes.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled by Apple; MindBuilding never sees your payment details. To confirm your access, the status of your purchase is also shared with RevenueCat, tied to an anonymous identifier, not to your name. Member codes are redeemed through Apple.
Notifications
The daily reminder is scheduled by your iPhone itself, only if you turn it on. Nothing is sent to a server to schedule it.
Links and sharing
Cards and texts for Discord are created on the device and leave it only if you share them yourself. Opening the Discord server, a study's page or Apple's terms takes you to those services, whose own policies apply. The help lines in « Need to talk? » are phone numbers stored in the app: nothing is sent when you view them.
Your choices and rights
In Profile you can export every session and trial as CSV or JSON, turn the usage measurement off, and erase everything. Because nothing that identifies you leaves the device, there is no account and no remote record to access or delete. For any question about this policy, write to Gambinoromeo9@gmail.com.
Young people
MindBuilding is designed for teenagers and adults. It has no chat, no feed and nothing public; under 16, public features stay off even when they arrive in a future version.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be published on this page with a new date.
