Privacy Policy

This policy describes Aubelio 1.0, an iPhone app for a personal journal and observations. Its publisher is Roméo Gambino EI (RomeoApps). For support and privacy requests, contact Gambinoromeo9@gmail.com.

Use Aubelio without an account

Choose a daily action, keep your journal and view the current-week summary without an account or an Apple Health connection. The app does not diagnose or treat conditions, measure biological age or make medical decisions for you.

Information kept on your iPhone

The priorities, actions, completion records and notes you save; imported or manually entered observations; their sources, dates, units, time zones and reading timestamps; original CSV files if you choose to keep them. This information displays your observations, history and local summaries. It stays in app storage until you delete it.

Optional, read-only Apple Health access

An explicit tap on the Health access control opens Apple’s permission request. Aubelio requests only read access to ten types: steps, walking/running distance, active energy, weight, resting heart rate, SDNN heart-rate variability, dietary energy, protein, recorded water and sleep. No write access is requested. Your observations are not used for advertising, marketing or training remote AI.

Choose and withdraw permissions in Apple Health. Stopping Health reading in Aubelio keeps observations already saved; delete them separately if desired. Empty results may mean missing data or restricted access: Aubelio cannot always distinguish these causes. Sources are shown separately and are not added together.

Sleep uses a union of recorded asleep intervals per source in noon-to-noon windows, dated by their end. The newest displayed window ends yesterday at noon and does not guarantee coverage of your latest night. Nutrition values reflect quantities recorded by a compatible source, not automatic analysis of every meal.

Imports and manual entries

CSV imports use Aubelio’s format, a preview and your confirmation. Keeping the original file is optional. Confirmed manual corrections retain prior input documents in exports and select the manual source for that measure. They do not edit Apple Health or provider records. Input precision is retained; displayed values may be rounded. This version does not import PDFs or photos.

Storage and protection

No Aubelio server, remote AI provider, advertising network or analytics service receives your observations or journal in this version. Journal and observation files request iOS file protection and exclusion from system backups. Preferences, including reminder settings, use standard iOS storage and may follow the device’s backup behavior. Excluding these files does not mean every preference is excluded from every backup. No absolute protection is promised.

Export and deletion

Export before switching devices or uninstalling Aubelio: cloud synchronization and JSON export restoration are not provided. You choose export locations and recipients. External destinations, including locations in Files, may be cloud services with their own policies. Shared summaries contain dates, priorities and actions, without private notes or Health measurements.

Data provides observation export and deletion; Settings provides journal export and deletion. These separate actions explain their scope and require confirmation. Neither deletes Apple Health originals nor copies already exported. Delete external copies where they are stored. Uninstalling removes local app storage according to iOS behavior.

Optional local reminders

Notification permission is requested only when you enable a reminder. Its time is stored in device preferences. Generic notification text contains no personal action, note or health measurement. Disable reminders in Settings. Aubelio does not use a push notification service.

App Store and external services

Aubelio 1.0 offers no in-app purchases or subscriptions. StoreKit may nevertheless communicate with Apple when you request restoration or an access check. Apple processes these operations under its privacy policy. Transaction information stays separate from your journal and Health observations; Aubelio does not receive bank details.

Catalogue links, documentation and web pages open external services with their own policies. A link does not create a direct manufacturer connection. Visits to RomeoApps follow the separate website privacy policy.

If you contact support

Sending an email is voluntary and separate from local app data. Roméo Gambino EI uses your reply address, message and necessary technical information to answer your request, based on the legitimate interest of providing support. This information is not used for advertising or marketing. Only a reply address and problem description are needed; without them, a reply may be impossible. Do not send health measurements, private notes or complete exports. Remove personal information from screenshots.

The support mailbox uses Gmail. Google processes email delivery and hosting under its privacy policy, including the international processing described there. The publisher accesses messages to resolve the request. Messages are kept while it is being resolved, then deleted within twelve months of closure, except material strictly required by a legal obligation or an unresolved dispute. Health data sent by mistake is not used to provide medical advice and is removed from the request when identified.

Your rights and policy changes

Export, deletion and withdrawal of Health permissions for local data take place on your device; the publisher cannot read or remotely erase your files. For information received by support, request access, correction, deletion or restricted processing, or object where applicable, using the contact above. You may also complain to the CNIL or your competent data protection authority. Your messages are not used for profiling or automated decisions.

If app behavior or processing changes, this policy and its date will be updated. Future features will not be described as available before release. Also see Aubelio support.
