Local app data and camera

Your quiz answers, start date, check-ins, preferences and progress photos are stored locally on your iPhone. Progress photos remain in the app's private storage unless you choose to export them.

Desk Mode analyses front-camera frames on your device with Apple's Vision framework to detect a hand near the mouth. Desk Mode does not record, retain, or transmit those camera frames. The app's guided progress photos are stored locally as described above.

Purchases and RevenueCat

Apple processes payments through StoreKit. NailSafe does not receive your payment-card details. RevenueCat is used to record and help manage purchase and subscription status. This can involve purchase and transaction information, subscription status, and a pseudonymous app user identifier generated by the service; it is not used as a NailSafe sign-in account.

Product analytics

NailSafe sends limited product-interaction events to TelemetryDeck, such as app opens, onboarding and paywall steps, plan selections, purchase outcomes, restores, and rating prompts. The event context includes a pseudonymous installation identifier, the app version and build, language, region, and time since installation. We use this information to understand app use and improve the purchase journey. It is not linked in the app to your name, email address, progress photos, camera frames, or habit answers.

Apple Ads attribution

On compatible iOS versions, RevenueCat may collect Apple's standard Apple Ads attribution token to measure whether an Apple Ads campaign led to a purchase. This supports campaign measurement; NailSafe does not display third-party advertising in the app. The app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission or use an IDFA for this attribution.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device.

Deleting the app

Deleting NailSafe removes its local app data from your device. It does not by itself delete purchase, subscription, attribution, or analytics information that may already be held by Apple, RevenueCat, TelemetryDeck, or Apple Ads under their respective practices.
