Terms of Use

1. What VocalMaxx is

VocalMaxx measures the fundamental frequency of your voice and offers vocal training exercises, available through a subscription or a one-time purchase.

2. What VocalMaxx is not

VocalMaxx is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any disorder of the voice, speech or hearing, and it does not replace the advice of a health professional. The measurements shown are indicative.

3. No guaranteed result

Results depend on individual practice. VocalMaxx promises no change to your voice, and no timeframe for obtaining one.

4. Safety

You agree to stop any exercise immediately in the event of pain, discomfort or hoarseness, and to consult an ENT doctor or a speech therapist if any difficulty persists. Exercises are never done by forcing.

5. Subscription

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours beforehand. Payment is charged to your Apple Account on confirmation of purchase. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings. A free trial, where offered, is attached to one named plan.

6. Access and the existing free tier

For installations that completed onboarding before updating to version 1.7.7, the existing free tier remains available permanently and without a time limit:

• Unlimited measurements. A measurement is a dedicated take that produces a numerical result — your median frequency, your range and your stability. There is no daily limit and there never will be.
• Your full history and progress curve, with no limit on the number of entries.
• One complete exercise with its audio demonstration.

For those existing installations, this remains a commitment, not a promotional offer: these features will not move behind the paywall. If the free exercise ever has to be replaced for technical reasons, it will be replaced by another complete exercise, never removed.

For a new installation of version 1.7.7 or later, VocalMaxx presents an access offer after onboarding. Continuing into the app requires starting an eligible trial, a subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase; this group does not have permanent free access. The August 2026 free-tier commitment above remains in force for existing installations that completed onboarding before updating. The live frequency shown during a guided exercise remains a Pro feature; new analysis features may also be part of Pro.

7. Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are governed by Apple's terms: we can neither grant nor refuse them. Requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.

8. Intellectual property

The exercises, texts and audio demonstrations are the property of the publisher and may not be reproduced or redistributed.

9. Governing law
