Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Dual N-Back is published by Roméo Gambino. This policy describes the app’s training data, purchase processing and usage analytics.
1. Training history and Apple services
Training sessions, scores, settings and progress are stored on your device using SwiftData and app preferences. Where available, Apple’s private iCloud/CloudKit storage can synchronize training data through your Apple Account. The widget reads a shared local app container.
If you use Game Center, the app sends leaderboard scores and achievements to Apple. Your Game Center profile and scores may be visible to other players according to your Apple settings.
2. Purchases and subscriptions
Apple processes payments and manages subscriptions. We do not receive your card details. The app uses RevenueCat to observe purchases and measure subscription performance. RevenueCat processes a randomly generated app user identifier, transaction and product identifiers, purchase dates, subscription status and technical information needed to provide its service. These records are separate from your training history.
Provider information: Apple privacy and RevenueCat privacy.
Apple Ads attribution: if you installed the app after tapping an Apple Ads ad, RevenueCat may collect Apple’s standard attribution token (AdServices) to tell which campaign, ad group and search keyword led to the download or a purchase. Dual N-Back shows no third-party advertising, does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission and uses no advertising identifier (IDFA) for this.
3. Usage analytics
The app sends events to TelemetryDeck to understand which parts of the app are used and where purchase flows fail. Events include app launches, onboarding steps, offer displays, purchase attempts and results, restorations and review-prompt displays. They can include the app version, language, region setting, time since installation, product, price, currency and offer context. Session-start and session-save events can also include the entry point, guidance action, trial status, game mode, N level, round-count category (20, 40, 60 or “other”), whether the audio stimulus is enabled, and number of stimulus streams. Score-share display and tap events can include the game mode, N level and result grade. These are usage measurements; the round count is not elapsed time, and the audio flag is not an audio recording.
Events use a random installation identifier hashed before transmission and a session identifier. The app does not attach your name, email or advertising identifier to these events. See TelemetryDeck privacy.
4. Support and your choices
If you contact support, we receive the email address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond. Do not send payment-card details. Contact Roméo Gambino at Gambinoromeo9@gmail.com for questions or data requests.
You can reset local history and progress from the app’s settings. You manage iCloud and Game Center through Apple settings, and subscriptions through Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Resetting or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription or automatically erase purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat.
We do not use these services for cross-app advertising tracking or sell your training history. Apple, RevenueCat and TelemetryDeck process the data described above under their own documented retention and processing practices. This app policy is separate from the website privacy policy.
