Export a routine as a PDF, check its picture steps and keep a usable paper copy when the device is put away.

## Choose one routine worth printing

Start with a routine your child already recognises. Check its title, picture steps and order in the parent space before exporting it. A short sequence such as getting dressed, breakfast and brushing teeth is easier to check than a page full of optional tasks. The paper copy should represent your actual household routine, not an ideal morning or a new clinical programme.

## Use the child’s week card menu

In the parent week view, open the share-or-print menu on the child’s card. It lists the child’s non-repeatable routines with a Print option followed by the routine title. Choose the intended routine, rather than the separate 10-star or 20-star reward chart. Bravi creates a PDF and opens the system sharing sheet; printing and saving are handled through that sheet.

## Inspect the PDF before using paper

The routine PDF contains its title, the child’s displayed name, the step images and labels, and seven weekday columns with empty boxes. Check that every label is readable and that the order matches the app. The sheet includes personal information, so choose where to save or share it deliberately. This is a printable template; its blank boxes are not a copy of completed session history.

## Print or keep a file you can print later

For AirPrint, Apple says to use a compatible printer on the same Wi-Fi network as the iPhone. Select Print from the sharing options, choose the printer and inspect the preview before confirming. If no suitable printer is available, save the PDF through an available sharing option and print it later. Check legibility on the actual sheet rather than assuming a small preview guarantees a clear print.

## Explain how the paper copy will be used

Place the sheet where the relevant routine happens and walk through the pictures with your child. Decide whether a pencil mark simply means a step was completed; keep that explanation consistent. Paper marks do not update Bravi’s stars or history. For bedtime, the parent should prepare the sheet before the final screen-free hour, then put the device away. The paper can remain available without keeping a screen beside the child.

## Replace the copy when the routine changes

If you rename, remove or reorder steps, export a fresh PDF and remove the old sheet to avoid competing instructions. Review the routine with your child when a step repeatedly causes friction, rather than adding more boxes automatically. Printing provides another way to display a sequence; it does not guarantee cooperation or a therapeutic outcome. This guide is published by Bravi’s developer.

## Questions

### Do pencil marks update the app?

No. The PDF has blank boxes to mark on paper; those marks do not update Bravi’s stars or routine history.

### Can I print a reward chart instead?

The same parent menu offers separate 10-star and 20-star charts. Choose the routine’s Print entry for its illustrated steps.
